Drawing has always been a passion of mine, something that I've cherished since childhood. Despite pursuing a different career path, I found solace in picking up my pencils at the end of a long day. There's something truly therapeutic about putting pencil to paper and letting your imagination flow.

Around four years ago, I made a conscious decision to reintegrate drawing into my daily routine. Starting with graphite portraits, I rediscovered the joy and satisfaction that comes with capturing the essence of a subject on paper. Graphite became my trusted companion, allowing me to express myself and explore the intricacies of light and shadow.

But as my journey progressed, I felt a pull towards colour. Coloured pencils, with their vibrant hues and endless possibilities, beckoned me to explore new avenues of creativity. I found myself drawn to the beauty of domestic animals and the majesty of wildlife, each subject offering its own unique challenges and rewards.

Experimentation became my mantra as I delved into the world of coloured pencils. I discovered that the choice of surface could dramatically influence the final outcome, with smoothness and texture playing pivotal roles in the rendering process.
